Bathing – Depending on the scale of the bathroom refurbishment and which bathing solution is being installed, a typical installation should take up to 5 working days.

Stairlifts – Typically Stairlifts take between 2-6 hours for installation depending on the type of stairlift installed.

Ramps – Normally a ramp would take approx 4 hours for installation and  under a day.

As member of the British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) and Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS), we adhere to all guidelines and can guarantee quality workmanship and installation. We also have a Quality Assurance team that check the standard of work during installation and after completion.

All our installers are covered by the Millbrook Healthcare Group public liability insurance and we also work to the highest safety standards.

AHS endeavours to carry out the majority of the installed work itself, however it does on occasions need to use third-party tradespeople. They are however covered by National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) standards.

We work in close partnerships with Local Authorities and Home Improvement Agencies (HIA’s) to understand any specific warranty requirements, however typically they are:

Bathing – 1 year warranty

Stairlifts – 2 year warranty

Ramps – 2 year installation warranty, 20 year product warranty

For complete peace-of-mind, AHS offers a 24/7, 365 days a year breakdown service which is manned. Our operators will arrange an engineer or installer to visit to evaluate the situation and take the necessary steps to rectify, if in warranty.
